Embarking on the MKAP project, Sequoia is committed to afforesting 69,000 hectares in the Kouilou province. With 30,000 hectares dedicated to biodiversity conservation, this initiative aims to foster employment, agricultural training, and sustainable development while substantially reducing pressure on natural forests.
Timber Substitution
Substituting 0.7 million cubic meters of natural timber with renewable Eucalyptus timber every 10 years.

Under the KEPP project, Sequoia aims to sustainably manage 36,000 hectares of eucalyptus plantations in Pointe-Noire and Kouilou provinces. This initiative, designed to provide sustainable fiber for industrialization, includes the establishment of a veneer/plywood producing factory in PICP.

Sequoia plantation distributes cookstove to the rural households of the Togo free of cost to replace traditional 3 stones stove. To deliver above mention benefits. This cookstoves are purely funded by carbon markets hence available at no charge to the beneficiary, ensuring that households have access to safe and efficient cooking solutions.
